Michiel has a degree in Law from the University of Maastricht and a degree in Japanese business economics from the University of Leiden. He has +20 years of international procurement, vendor- and contract management experience (direct- and indirect procurement) with a strong focus on IT: hardware, software and services in a variety of business settings.<\/p>\n
His experience furthermore encompasses setting up of strategic alliances and managing partnership relationships. Working for large multinational company he has gained experience with pre-merger due diligence project and post-merger integration. Roles varied from Director Supply Chain Management to IT Procurement Consultant in different companies e.g. Royal Philips Electronics, KPN, Royal Friesland Campina, Akzo Nobel and Capgemini.<\/p>\n
Besides his procurement, vendor- and contract management skills he is also a certified program\u2013 and project manager (MSP, PRINCE2) making him a valuable in any procurement, vendor- and contract management role which are approached on a program and\/or project basis.<\/p>\n
